Bacteria are small single - celled organisms. Bacteria are found almost everywhere on Earth. These are the members of kingdom Monera. Some of these organisms can live under extreme conditions of temperature and pressure. They can be harmful as well as useful.
Bacteria are considered as harmful because they cause different type of diseases in organisms.
Some of the bacterial diseases are Cholera, Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Plague, Anthrax , Scarlet fever, Diptheria, Tetanus, Syphilis etc.
